PureZone 3-in-1 HEPA Air Purifier Review

Up for discussion Today is the PureZone 3-in-1 HEPA Air Purifier by Pure Enrichment. This is a product that I have used for over a year. So let's dive right into it.

Description
For those that are not familiar with what this product does, it draws in surrounding air and filters it and blows out purified air into the room. It is great for filtering dust, pollen, and floating particles in your home using a 3-in-1 HEPA filter. It also contains a UV-C light that is supposed to kill germs and bacteria.

It has 4 touch sensitive buttons on the top that control its many features. The first button is the power button which turns the unit on and off. The second button sets the fan speed to level 1,2 or 3. The third button cycles through the UV-C light power on/off and the sleep mode. The noise level of this fan is very low on level 1 and gets slightly higher on level 2 and 3. The sleep mode makes it even quieter. The last button is timer settings for 2, 4 and 8 hrs, after which it will shut down. You can choose any of these settings and continuously run it or set it to shut off after 2, 4 or 8 hrs.

It comes with 3-in-1 HEPA filter included. It is recommended to change the filter after 6 months but I tend to push it to 9-12 months.
I do some woodworking and I used this filter in the shop once and was surprised by how much sawdust it filtered out of the air. I was very impressed, to say the least.

I also have a few wifi smart plugs that I can turn on and off with my phone, Google/Alexa, or set a schedule on my phone. The great thing about this item is that when you plug it in, it returns to the setting that it was originally on when it was unplugged. This means that I can use a wifi smart plug with this device and have it turn on and off from my phone, google assistant or a routine timer that I set on the wifi smart plug. It will return to the fan speed/ UV-C/ sleep/ timer settings that it was on when it was turned off.
It is rated to cover 200 sq ft area so I use it in my bedroom.

Price
The unit sells on Amazon for about $99 and additional filters sell for around $17.

The Good
There are tons of good things to say about this product but I will keep it brief and to the point.
  • It does an excellent job of filtering the air and has UV-C light to kill bacteria and germs
  • It is fairly priced and the filter won't break the bank either
  • The loaded features and options allow you to control your specific fan speed, UV-C on/off, sleep mode and three timer settings.
  • For those smart home people that want to know if this works with wifi smart plugs, the answer is YES! When unplugged and plugged in or when the wifi smart plug is turned off and then turned on, it will return automatically to the setting it was on when it was unplugged or turned off.
  • Warranty. Warranty. Warranty. A company that offers a 5-year warranty on their product says a lot about how well made the product is and that it will last a long time.

The Bad
There is not much to say in terms of bad but if I had to pick out a few things it would be:
  • Noise on fan level 3 is a little loud (esp if you have it in the bedroom but you also have the sleep option to lower the noise)
  • The product is a little big to fit on a nightstand if you have a lamp, alarm clock, and phone accessories on the nightstand and it is too small to keep on the floor. Currently, I have it on my nightstand but it somewhat crowds the nightstand.
  • It is not ideal for a very large room and works best for small/medium rooms (200 sq ft or smaller)

Warranty

This device offers a 5-year warranty! This is unheard of and this is what drew me to this product and to this company. I have bought a few other items from Pure Enrichment solely because of how they back up their product and I have never had a problem with any of them.

Smart Home Integration
This product works with wifi smart plugs and returns to the setting it was on when it was turned off.

In Conclusion, this is a solid air purifier for a bedroom or small/medium sized room. You can count on the quality of the product especially with the 5-year warranty the company offers. It has great features and also works with your wifi smart plug.

Battle of two Giants - Anker Vs Ravpower - Chargers, Battery Packs, Adapters, and more

Let me start off by saying that Anker and Ravpower are my two favorite companies in terms of chargers and portable battery packs. You cannot go wrong with either one as they have yet to fail me. After buying some portable chargers from low-level companies that did not last very long, I bought my first Anker power bank a few years back. After loving its quality and fast charging capabilities, I bought a 4 port charger for my office table followed by a 4 port car charger, micro USB cables, wireless charger, phone stand, and a gigantic 20000 mAh portable charger.  During this time, I decided to try out Ravpower as well. Throughout the years, I have collected four of the 4 port chargers, four wireless chargers, wall adapters, portable chargers and of course more micro USB cables. Let's try to separate the two companies based on a few factors: Quality, Price, Warranty, and Product Lineup. Quality Anker: Its products are durable and always reliable. Throughout my years of u
